We helped them to identify the vulnerabilities and risk to the business and mapped solutions to resolve or improve the situation.

Our email security solution filtered 60% of emails sent to the business that were spam, info mail or threats.  This meant that staff had more time to do other task and could open emails more confidently.

The end point protection that we deployed, picked up 3 viruses, cleaned the machines, got all of the software patching up to date and started reporting and protecting them from further attacks.

An investment portfolio business required our expertise to improve their cyber security posture and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.  They also needed to improve their support services and needed to find a new IT support provider.

We helped them to go on a full transformation journey finding new suppliers, new technology and new ways using IT.  We enabled their staff to remain connected for longer and found a long term partner to support them around the world.

We carried out a gap analysis on their compliance and worked with the new supplier to ensure these gaps were filled.  The new technology and solutions we chose ensured that travelling users were able to work wherever they were.

A prestigious UK college

WiFi is an essential part of a college campus and when it doesn’t work properly it can have a huge impact.

We were asked to assist the incumbent support company who were stuck.  The college required a Cisco ACS rebuild and upgrade as well as a wireless controller redesign and configuration.  The college requirements were a little tricky to meet but our team love a challenge.

We installed the new ACS server and then rebuilt the wireless LAN controller to utilise some new features.  The result was a robust, scalable and stable wireless platform that kept the staff and students happy.

A large B2B insurance business required our expertise to improve the reliability of their IT solutions and back-end systems.

We helped them to go on a full transformation journey finding new suppliers, new team structures, overhauled their processes and made them more self-sufficient and efficient.

We designed, installed and maintain a brand new network and enabled them to go fully wireless in their office.  This reduced the cost as they didn’t need as much cabling or as many switches.

We helped a university to upgrade their firewalls to cope with their future demands on learning technology. 

Our solution was to split out some of the security controls to an alternative solution. 

This saved them money, improved performance and gave them more functionality and reporting.

Overseas IT company

A US- based IT company were having issues with a managed Meraki WiFi deployment.  We identified the cause and provided a solution for an immediate fix.  We continued to engage with them and provided advice and guidance on best practices to help them avoid similar issues in the future.  The support was provided by reviewing their wireless survey results remotely and adding a simulation survey over the top.

Food distribution warehouse

A food distribution company had a new warehouse being built and they needed robust, reliable WiFi. 

We carried out a simulation survey before the site was completed to enable the client to order the equipment and avoid delays once the construction was complete. 

Once the deployment was complete we carried out a post-deployment survey to ensure everything was working as expected.

Remediation

Large Cafe

A large café had an existing wireless deployment that kept dropping out and wasn’t performing well. 

This resulted in them not being able to take payments and losing customers who wanted to work from their venue.  We reconfigured the entire solution, improved security and network performance and they haven’t had an issue since. 

This saved them money as they didn’t need to purchase new equipment and revenue has increased as their customers are happier and stay there longer

Deployment

Rural location

A rural business couldn’t get decent internet access and needed to expand, improve connectivity and security. 

We deployed a Starlink connection with a backup 4G router and upgraded their WiFi to enable them to use the bandwidth available from Starlink.
